Instructions, in depth.

Everything you need to start, restore safely, and get the most from your Priva device. Written for the long journey.

Getting started.

Foreskin restoration is the gradual expansion of penile shaft skin through sustained, gentle tension. It is not fast, and it isn't supposed to be, skin grows in response to tension over months and years, not days. Patience and consistency outperform aggressive tension every time.

Three principles, before anything else:

  • Gentle is better than tight. The skin should feel stretched, never pinched or pulled white.
  • Consistency beats intensity. Several short stretches of wear across the day outperform one long, painful one.
  • Listen to your skin. Redness, irritation, or numbness means stop. Rest days are part of the protocol.
Safety first Never sleep while wearing any Priva device, and never wear one under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Take the device off right away if the skin turns white, grey, blue or purple, feels cold, goes numb or tingles, or if you feel pain. If normal colour and feeling do not come back within 15 minutes, get urgent medical care. Read the full Disclaimer, including who should not use these devices, before you start.
A medical note Restoration is not a medical treatment. If you have any skin condition, recent surgery, or specific concerns, consult a healthcare provider before beginning.

The CI stage scale.

The Coverage Index (CI) is the community-standard way to track progress, running from CI-1 (fully retracted at rest) to CI-9 (full coverage with overhang). Knowing your stage helps you pick the right device and tension level.

  • CI-1 to CI-3, Early. Little to no slack. Focus on building initial skin available for gripping.
  • CI-4 to CI-6, Mid. Some flaccid coverage. The widest range of devices works well here.
  • CI-7 to CI-9, Late. Full flaccid coverage. Focus shifts to refinement, inner skin development, and dual tension.

Priva Air

Priva Air
Priva Air

Direct Air - Designed for efficiency and control, the Priva Air lets you add air exactly where you want it, for a steady, adjustable fit. Quick Connect Valve - Add air to your device using the included pump, and disconnect...

i.
Pick a gripper.

Try the four grippers and use whichever holds best and feels most comfortable for you.

ii.
Seat the cone.

The denser inner cone goes over the glans; the softer outer cone seals against the skin.

iii.
Connect the pump.

Attach the one-way quick-connect valve. Squeeze the bulb slowly.

iv.
Inflate gradually.

Stop the moment you feel firm pressure, not pain. Hold the inflation for 10–20 minutes.

v.
Release and rest.

Slowly release the valve. Skin should be pink, not red or numb. Wait at least an hour before repeating.

Priva Packer

Priva Packer
Priva Packer

Magnetic Retainer - One device, two uses. Wear it as a tugger or as a packer, depending on your routine. Four Grippers Included - Comes with firm 45A and soft 30A grippers, each in solid and perforated versions, so you...

i.
Choose your gripper.

Try the four grippers and use whichever holds best and feels most comfortable for you.

ii.
Roll the skin onto the packer.

Pull existing slack forward over the glans, then roll the foreskin up the body of the packer and seat the gripper so it holds the skin in place.

iii.
Set the packing length.

The Packer packs your skin onto the device to hold a passive, all-day stretch. The further you roll the skin up the packer, the more tension it holds. The skin should feel stretched, never pinched.

iv.
Add plates for length.

Stack Classic 10mm plates as needed to extend the packer as you progress. If you need room for the frenulum, use the Notched 15mm plate or choose the Notched Packer.

v.
Build wear time.

Start with 1–2 hours. Build up gradually. You can wear it under clothing for most of the day.

Priva Duo

Priva Duo
Priva Duo

Dual Tension - A packer that pushes and pulls at the same time, for steady tension in both directions. Adjustable Tension - Set the tension to the level that suits you, and adjust it as your routine changes. Tension Indicator...

i.
Choose your gripper.

Use whichever gripper holds best and feels most comfortable for you.

ii.
Position the skin.

Bring existing slack forward over the glans, roll the foreskin onto the bell and seat the gripper so the skin is held securely.

iii.
Engage the ratcheting rod.

With the pusher resting against the glans, engage the spring-loaded rod. It ratchets out in steady increments, applying dual tension, drawing the skin forward while pushing back against the glans, and holds each position so the tension stays set without a manual grip.

iv.
Check the indicator.

Advance the rod one increment at a time and read the built-in tension indicator. Aim for steady mid-range pressure you can repeat, not maximum.

v.
Add plates and build wear time.

Stack 10mm magnetic plates to extend length as you progress. Start with 30–60 minutes at a time, increasing slowly. The Duo is suited to longer wear once you adapt.

Priva Tugger

Priva Tugger
Priva Tugger

Micro-Texture TPU - A finely textured TPU surface gives the gripper a secure hold, so the Tugger stays in place during use. Swappable Grippers - Grippers swap in and out easily, so you can choose the grip style that best...

i.
Prepare the skin.

Ensure the skin is clean and dry so the device seats without sliding.

ii.
Position the tugger.

Place existing slack forward over the glans, then seat the TPU tugger so it grips the foreskin gently.

iii.
Apply tension.

Attach a strap or weight as preferred, start with the lightest you have. The skin should feel stretched, never pinched.

iv.
Wear in short stretches.

Begin with 20–30 minutes at a time. The Tugger is designed for getting started, not all-day wear.

v.
Build the habit.

Once you can comfortably sustain daily wear, consider stepping up to the Packer for longer, retained wear.

Care & cleaning.

  • Wipe down after each use with a soft cloth dampened with warm water and mild, fragrance-free soap. Do not submerge.
  • Air-dry fully before storing. Trapped moisture degrades silicone over time.
  • Priva Air: dust can get into the air valve. If it sticks, apply a drop of mineral oil to the valve only and wipe away any excess.
  • Inspect grippers regularly for nicks or stiffness. Replace as needed.

Troubleshooting.

The device keeps slipping

Usually a gripper-size issue. Try the perforated gripper for more friction, or move to a softer 30A if the 45A is too rigid to seat properly.

Skin is red or irritated after wearing it

Tension is too high or wear time is too long. Cut both in half and rebuild gradually. Take 1–2 rest days.

Numbness or cold sensation

Remove immediately. Restricted circulation means tension is too tight. Wait until full sensation returns before reapplying, at much lower tension.

Inflation won't hold (Priva Air)

Check the one-way valve is fully seated and the gripper is making a complete seal against clean, dry skin.
